We are proud to announce that the Central Research Laboratory at Kempegowda Institute of Medical Sciences (CRL KIMS) in Bangalore, a partner in our Global Health Research Unit for Genomic Surveillance of AMR Resistance at CGPS, was awarded the world’s first Good Financial Grant Practice (GFGP) Certification on 15 June 2020.
The Unit was quick to recognise that GFGP could help to further enhance their financial management and operational practices to support both optimal project delivery and improved transparency and accountability. We supported the Unit over an 18-month period to achieve their GFGP certification, funded by the UK National Institute for Health Research.
CRL KIMS have been rewarded with the very first certification issued, all the more important given this certification process was impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic.
